Timeline

2007

The Beginning

JLA ENGINE is born. Inefficiencies at the heart of the ICE (internal combustion engine) are identified, eliminated and the mechanical architecture is improved, embodied in JLA-1 MAP.

2011

JLA - 1 MAP ICE

This prototype, delivering 30% higher efficiency, is awarded a Silver Medal and that same year achieves international transcendence at Agritechnica, Hannover, Germany.

2012

JLA - 1 MAP ICE

The architecture is adopted as cornerstone of several next generation internal combustion engine programs for US military and US commercial applications, that could be reaching market by 2024/2027.

2016

JLA - 2 MAP ICE

This compact design is released, to tackle the size issue for locating the OP engine in smaller vehicles: 30% size reduction + more torque.

2019

JLA - T MAP

Mild Hybrid 48 Volts Transmission System is released. Allows TORQUE and RPM to be managed, locating the performance of the hybrid set at the best. In such way, the ICE operates at all times in a range close to its maximum efficiency, avoiding the most polluting emission ranges. Computer simulation assessments report over 40% fuel reduction in simulated 100% urban cycle + improved acceleration.
